Making Indefinite Pronouns and Verbs Agree
A verb must agree in number with an indefinite pronoun used as a subject.Remember:
Singular indefinite pronouns are any indefinite pronoun ending in body or one, each, either, and neither. | |
Plural indefinite pronouns are both, few, many several. |
| There are five indefinite pronouns that we call the "Magical 5." | |
| They can be either singular or plural. | |
| Their number is determined by looking at the object of the prepositional phase that appears behind them. | |
| The "Magical Five" are all, any, most, none, some. |
