Making Indefinite Pronouns and Verbs Agree

A verb must agree in number with an indefinite pronoun used as a subject.

Remember:

Singular indefinite pronouns are any indefinite pronoun ending in body or one, each, either, and neither.

Plural indefinite pronouns are both, few, many several.

There are five indefinite pronouns that we call  the "Magical 5."
They can be either singular or plural.
Their number is determined by looking at the object of the prepositional phase that appears behind them.
The "Magical Five" are all, any, most, none, some.

Practice these rules by trying this quiz game.
